I Wish!

I wish you bright mornings,
I wish you happy days.
I wish you enchanting evenings,
I wish you peaceful ways.

I cant promise to take away your sorrows.
I cant assure to wash away your pain.
Only, I wish!
My shoes fit your size,
when you walk a long way,
you can cuddle up in mine.

I have enough to offer you.
I have nothing to offer you.
Only, I wish!
I fill the glass with happiness,
when you feel Life at brink,
you get enough to drink.

You save my thoughts with you,
I keep yours with me.
For we have nothing,
but the power to "Wish"!

दीवारें

ये जो परतें गिर रही हैं इनसे,
फटे पर्दों के टुकरे हैं.
अब, इन दीवारों से कुछ कहा ना करो,
इनके कान बंद हो गए हैं.

ये जो धब्बे छिटके हुए हैं इन पर,
सूख चुके हैं.
अब, इनसे सर पीटा ना करो,
इन्हें दर्द का एहसास नहीं होता.

खंडहर के हिस्से की
धड़कन सुनाई देती है इनसे,
अब, इनसे गले लगा ना करो,
इनके दिल में दरार पड़ गई है.

Delicacy of Emotions

Delicacy of emotions,
Marinated in syrup of words,
Whisked with sweet nothings,
Mixed with tangy mischief,
Baked over warmth of our breaths,
Garnished with sour memories,
Laced with shimmer of smiles
Spread on the pan of Life,

Ah!! my friend or foe
I savour the taste of
our relationship!!

झूला

तुम बस इतना कर दो,
नीम के पेड़ की
सबसे ऊँची डाल जो है,
उस पर एक झूला डाल दो.
वही नीम का पेड़ जो,
सावन में मेरी खिड़की के अन्दर झांकता था,
जिसकी मीठी निम्बोरी मेरे आँगन में बिखरी रहती थीं,
बहुत आँख दिखाई है मैंने उसे,
पतझड़ के मौसम में.

तुम बस इतना कर दो,
नीम के पेड़ की
सबसे ऊँची डाल जो है,
उस पर एक झूला डाल दो.
बादल का छल्ला बना कर,
ज़रा उंगली में पेहन लूँ,
बहुत बार एड़ियों से धक्का दिया है आसमान को,
झूले पर उचक कर बैठे हुए.
